Revelation 2:20 Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols.

Jezebel was one of the evilest women of the Bible and the evilest queen in Israel’s history.
She was from Tyre and the daughter of Ithbaal, which means “with Baal”.
If she believed in a god it was a false, pagan one.
Her wickedness led an entire nation into idolatry.
She had her own priests of Baal and Asherah and she promoted the altars and groves used in the immoral worship.
Jezebel took control of the rule of Israel and actually wrote letters in King Ahab’s name just to have a man killed for his vegetable garden.
She had many godly people killed and set her sights on Elijah.
She was conniving, manipulative, and arrogant.
Jezebel would complement to get her way and control others.
This same spirit still exists today.
It gets into church with the appearance of being very spiritual and serving (a prophetess).
She teaches her compromising, ungodly ways to others in such a sly way that it’s almost imperceptible as evil.
She is seductive and complements the egos of others to get her way.
She may be sexually immoral or just lead you into spiritual adultery to worship something other than God.
She will lead you into idolatry, although it may not involve little statues or symbols. She will lead you away from God.
Know how to spot her by reading God’s word! Saturate yourself with His words!
