Memorable Scripture: Eternal Mark

Revelation 14:9-11 Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”

A strong warning about the mark.
The word “and” connects several things together in the verse 9.
Revelation 14:9 If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand.
Does this mean someone must do all the things: worship the beast AND his image And receive the mark?
Could someone worship the image and then later repent?
Or worship the beast and later repent?
I believe if you take the mark you seal your fate and repentance is no longer an option.
Worshipping the beast or image will lead to acceptance of the mark.
Humanity will do what it needs to survive and worship of a man and receiving a mark will seem a small price to pay for the ability to buy, sell, and survive.
Please do not lose sight of the fact this life is short and eternal life is eternal.
The fact the Antichrist dupes many into eternal servitude is a parallel mockery of eternal salvation through Jesus Christ.
