Ps 14:2 The Lord looks down from heaven upon the children of men to see if there are any who understand, who seek God.
I do! I seek God now.
I didn’t before my salvation conversion in 1975, but now I do.
Understand? That’s a different subject.
I can understand the basics.
However, God has some deepness to Him.
Paul realized this when he was taken to the third heaven “and heard inexpressible words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.” 2 Cor 12:4
He often spoke about a “mystery”, which is not something hidden but something he was revealing.
I want to know the deepness of God and His word.
The danger is going beyond God and adding, deleting, or changing His meaning.
If I say, “I love apples” but you tell everyone apples are my favorite fruit or I only eat apples, then you have changed the whole meaning of what I said and added your own words to it.
Always be careful at listening and reading too many differing opinions of Bible commentary. That can lead to even more confusion and less understanding.
It is written that you should study to show yourself approved of God, a workman that does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of God.
