I had a meeting yesterday.
I was 30 miles away from the meeting place.
The meeting was scheduled for 9:30 a.m.
I arrived at 9:20 a.m.

New for the New Year
The New Year is here!
Gone is any doubt that the world would end on December 21, 2012, according to the Mayan calendar.
So things continue as usual. It seems to me that it continues to get worse and not better. Continue reading
Standing in the gap.
So Joshua did what Moses had commanded and fought the army of Amalek. Meanwhile, Moses, Aaron, and Hur climbed to the top of a nearby hill. As long as Moses held up the staff in his hand, the Israelites had the advantage. But whenever he dropped his hand, the Amalekites gained the advantage. Moses’ arms soon became so tired he could no longer hold them up. So Aaron and Hur found a stone for him to sit on. Then they stood on each side of Moses, holding up his hands. So his hands held steady until sunset. Ex 17:10-13

The Noise of War
And when Joshua heard the noise of the people as they shouted, he said to Moses, “There is a noise of war in the camp.”
But he said: “It is not the noise of the shout of victory, nor the noise of the cry of defeat, but the sound of singing I hear.”
So it was, as soon as he came near the camp, that he saw the calf and the dancing. So Moses’ anger became hot, and he cast the tablets out of his hands and broke them at the foot of the mountain. Ex 32:17-19 Continue reading
Realize you are sinful!
I have found that proponents of the gay lifestyle are opponents of the Bible.
Basically they all use the same argument to debate the Christian and that argument is Old Testament scripture on homosexuality is outdated.
Here is their reasoning; scripture says Continue reading
The hem of Him
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down on the beard, the beard of Aaron, running down on the edge of his garments. Ps 133:1-2
Think about the unity of the oil and that is how the church should be. Continue reading
Evidence! I walk by faith!
Then the Lord said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand over the sea, that the waters may come back upon the Egyptians, on their chariots, and on their horsemen.” And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and when the morning appeared, the sea returned to its full depth, while the Egyptians were fleeing into it. Washed!
Then the LORD said to Moses, “Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their clothes.” Ex 19:10
Think of how difficult it was to wash clothes back then. You can moan, groan, and complain but you have it made today compared to the standards of 1000 years ago or even 100 years ago. Continue reading
No Burden of the Sabbath!
Is it a violation to not worship God on Sunday and not the Sabbath day?
It is written in Ex 20:8-11 – Remember to observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. You have six days each week for your ordinary work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath day of rest dedicated to the Lord your God. On that day no one in your household may do any work. Continue reading
Keep Passover? Or not?
What is the responsibility of the Christian when it comes to the Mosaic Law?
Is it something we should follow or not?
I pose these questions because of some Facebook posts that I’ve seen lately about following Torah or even celebrating Passover instead of Easter. Continue reading
