Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men. Matt 4:19
Fishing is a sport of patience and determination.
It is a skill to know when the fish may be biting and what type bait or lure to use.
Just because something isn’t caught today doesn’t mean you quit fishing all together. Continue reading
Morning Thought with Pastor Tim
Sooner or later
Lord, Lord, open to us Matt 25:11
It is a legitimate question that you should answer truthfully and honestly – how important is God to you?
Many wait until some last minute ditch effort in their life to suddenly make God a number one priority Continue reading
It’s going to be hail!
There has been a rash of really bad weather lately. Recently the Dallas/Ft. Worth area suffered through 55 severe thunderstorm warnings and 18 tornado warnings.
There were 17 confirmed tornadoes, including three EF-2’s and one EF-3.
My daughter and son-in-law both work in the north of Dallas and suffered some hail damage on their vehicles. Continue reading
It’s Secure!
We are now in the process of securing the new A/C units at the church.
I’ve been doing lots of research on different ways to do this, most are secured by alarms or cages.
I found a place in Texas that has cages but some of the men in church believe we can build it for much less. I do too! Continue reading
Start The Day
I rise early, before the sun is up; I cry out for help and put my hope in your words. Ps 119:147

The Apostle Paul was one of the greatest men when it came to upholding the Mosaic Law. Continue reading
Pesach, Passover, & Easter
Last time I said I was not a big fan of the word Easter.
The word “Easter” can only be found in the Bible in one place and one widely used translation; Acts 12:4 King James Version- And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.
However it is a wrong but right translation. Continue reading
Ready Or Not…
While standing in the checkout line, I notice there are two types of people; those that are ready to check out and those that are not.
Those that are ready start loading there items on the conveyor as soon as there is enough room for an item or two. Continue reading
God’s Will
Have you ever heard someone say they were right in the will of God and it seemed to you that they weren’t?
I see it all the time. I don’t believe a person can be a purposefully sinning and be doing God’s will.
What is sin but to go against the will of God, Continue reading
