That happens to me every day!
I get up.
I go to Lufkin.
I arrive at work.
They tell me what I must do!
Am I missing anything here?
I want to hear from God every day.
I want Him to tell me what to do.
But even if He is silent, His word is written and tells me what to do; He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God? Mic 6:8
Oh, there’s much more but that seems like a good place to start.
Each of us can have some form of pity party for ourselves.
Things don’t go well and you think that no one has been through this before.

Night before last, a quick thunderstorm popped up north of our house.
The distant thunder and flashes of lightning awakened me around 1am.
I went outside and could see stars over me and the huge cloud covered in lightning to the north.

Saturday night we had dinner and a movie at church, with a viewing of Blind Side. The movie is based on a true story and has a wonderful message of love, endurance, trust, and hope.
