On the last Thought I shared verses that say under the Law there was a remembrance of sin year after year and therefore there was sacrifice for sin year after year.
But Jesus came once for all time because He does what the blood of bulls and goats cannot do – cleanse all sin from your life. Continue reading

The End of Sacrifice
Continuing with yesterday’s thought on the sacrificial death of Jesus and the forgiveness of your sins.
I quoted 1 John 1:9 at the end of the blog – If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness.
The word “all” only means one thing to me and that is ALL! Continue reading
How much forgiveness?
Yesterday one of my coworkers wanted me to respond to a Facebook status she had written and was beginning to get comments on. I have taken the liberty to post her question and the responses that followed – including mine. Continue reading
The High Price.
I guess you have notice how much it cost to go grocery and necessity shopping. It’s almost impossible for us to get out of the grocery store for less than $200 a week on average.
Now we don’t go every week; sometimes it’s two weeks before we go and it may be almost $400 to check out. Continue reading
Honesty is still the best policy!
I consider myself an honest person! I don’t try to cheat or treat anyone unfairly.
There was a time when I might have been handed back more money in the check-out line than I was suppose to get and I would have kept it – just charging it to good fortune. Continue reading
Neighbors
You shall love your neighbor as yourself: Lev 19:18

Food for Thought!
I watched a video from a group that indicates a probable time for the return of Jesus and the beginning of the tribulation. That date is this month.
It deals with some scripture out of Revelation and Daniel. Continue reading
Wait
I’ve made my fair share of mistakes. Most were made because I wasn’t patient enough to wait.
There are times I rushed to buy something only to have it go on sale a week later.
There is a story in the Bible that gives a great example of mistakes caused by not waiting on the Lord. Continue reading
Missed the Rapture!
When I first moved to East Texas and got into church. One of the things I became interested in the end times; an interest that hasn’t diminished at all.
Perhaps it because of some of the music we sang in church – songs of resurrection and rapture.
I became engrossed in those scriptures that clearly witness of a great, future event. Continue reading
Preach Jesus!
Our first meeting at CrossRoads was on a Thursday night. It was a small Bible study and I didn’t want to interfere with the Wednesday night meetings of the other churches around the area.
That was April/May 1999 but the inevitable was bound to happen. Continue reading
