Hebrews 1:1-2 God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds;

Memorable Scripture: Youth
1 Timothy 4:12 Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
Continue readingBelieve the Unbelievable
Here is an interesting scripture,
Remember Lot’s wife. Luke 17:32
Jesus spoke those words and it adds validity to the story in Genesis where Lot, his wife, and daughters were fleeing from the judgment of God on Sodom and Gomorrah.
But his wife looked back behind him, and she became a pillar of salt. Gen 19:26
I know that sounds impossible but even Jesus did not dispute it.
Jesus did not dispute the Jonah story. In fact He said,
For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. Matt 12:40
The fact is the wild and fantastic unbelievable stories of the Old Testament are very believable in and of themselves; but more so because the Savior believed them.
To me this makes all of the New Testament believable and to be expected.
1 Thess 4:16-17 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
While that sounds utterly fantastic and many doubt that it will occur, if the Bible speaks the truth about the past then it speaks the truth about the future.
Believe it!
Abba, I believe the word. Guide me to live according to what I believe. In Jesus name, YES&AMEN!
Fullest Potential – Overcome Temptation (1)
You are going to be tempted. Overcoming temptation will lead to you living to your fullest potential in Christ. Giving into temptation kind of sends you back to the beginning and starting over.
As James says, “When troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. Continue reading
Fast For Others
My fast started out for three others – Trey, Hailey, and Courtney.
Ashley’s fast started out for her daughter, Courtney.
So is it Biblical to fast for someone else.
Read it for yourself. Continue reading
Law of Moses 103 – A Christian Perspective
The Law of Moses had many restrictions that aided in the health of the society as a whole. The food restrictions were in place to protect people from disease bearing animals, E-coli, salmonella, and botulism.
Then there were diseases that could spread from person to person and infect the entire Hebrew civilization. Continue reading
The Great Marriage
Today’s Morning Thought is something I found a few years ago. It involves the teaching of Zola Levitt, a Messianic Hebrew with a great understanding of Hebrew scripture and customs as related to the fulfillment of Messiah Yeshua. Continue reading
Easter?
Easter.
To me the word means only one thing – the resurrection of Jesus.
Perhaps when I was young I may have associated it with colored eggs, baskets of green grass, and chocolate bunnies.
I still love boiled eggs but I can do without the coloring. Continue reading
A Foundation of Knowledge
Schooling sets a foundation for a lifetime of learning. Imagine if no one ever searched for deeper answers; if everyone just accepted that what we have now is all there is.
Then the world would still be using campfires for warmth and living in thatched huts or caves. Continue reading
