What happens when you become faithful to God in a few things?
Jesus says, “Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things.” Matt 25:21
Last nights church discussion turned political, in a sense, as we talked about the hate crimes legislations sitting before the US Senate right now.
At church was one of our young men that has started coming regularly and consistently.
He has been faithful though he’s only 17 years old.
He drives himself every Sunday and Wednesday, without family, and friends his age.
I am proud and impressed by him.
I received this email last night after church: “I’m taking a government class for a college course, and we were assigned a project for this class. Write a 10 minute presentation on a current event dealing with government, particularly the legislative branch. Well, with the due date approaching, I was getting worried about what I could do. Most big topics have already been taken. I wasn’t expecting the perfect idea to be handed to me at church, but as soon as I finish this message I’m going to email my professor and tell him I’m doing it over the hate-crimes bill! I just thought this was a cool little thing that God did for me that I wanted to share.”
Attendance in church is not just for learning about the Bible.
Delight yourself also in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Ps 37:4
