Happy Born Again

Today is the birthday of a very special young lady in church; Courtney.
She is 14 today.
I’ve known Court since she was about 5 or 6; it seems like I’ve known her all her life.
I know she was so excited about turning 14.
I know there are many other exciting birthdays ahead for her; Sweet 16, 18, 21, maybe even 30 or 40; the milestones will keep on coming.
But out of them all there is one birthday that she is really proud of!
On her Facebook page you can find this: Jesus is my number one:)
Court has experienced the real birthday from a long ago conversation between Jesus and a man called Nicodemus.
Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again , he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?”
Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
John 3:3-8
Like someone once said, “you can be born once and die twice or be born twice and die once!”
I’ll take the latter!
If you know someone that hasn’t been born again, share this message with them today!

  1. Several folks become like brass when I speak the ways of God to them. So I pray they be granted repentance. I know folks that profess Christ as Saviour, but…It hurts my heart that they live like O. T. nonbelievers. Their children are not literly laid on an alter and burned, but their innocences is sacrified for the pleasure of the parent. Youth, innocences, childhood, who understands the importance of these any more. Those who disire Christ and serve God with fear. Seems they are few.
