For millennia, disasters have plagued mankind, wiping out entire families, towns, cities, and civilizations.
In the near future there will be another series of disasters, one after another that will once again test the resilience of people.
The first angel sounded: And hail and fire followed, mingled with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. And a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up.
Then the second angel sounded: And something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood. And a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.
Then the third angel sounded: And a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter.
Then the fourth angel sounded: And a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them were darkened. A third of the day did not shine, and likewise the night. Rev 8:7-12
Notice how a third of this and a third of that is destroyed.
Jokingly I would say this is the third worse set of disasters that will come upon the inhabitants of the earth but it is no joking matter.
Jesus said, “And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved.” Matt 24:22
Is it possible He is speaking of the very days you’ve read about?
If so, it is a coming disaster that has the ability to wipe out all life on our planet; total genocide!
And, yet, this is not the worst of it.
There is another disaster still to come and it is the greatest of them all.
