A message of today!

There is a certain race of people scattered through all the provinces of your empire who keep themselves separate from everyone else. Their laws are different from those of any other people, and they refuse to obey the laws of the king. So it is not in the king’s interest to let them live. Est 3:8
Though this was Haman’s decree directed to King Xerxes, it is fitting for today.
There is definitely a “certain race of people” who “keep themselves separate from everyone else.”
I call them Christians!
It is written therefore, come out from among unbelievers, and separate yourselves from them, says the Lord. 2 Cor 6:17
The law of the Christian is different from the laws of others, including the laws of the land we inhabit.
Paul said, “I love God’s law with all my heart.” Rom 7:22
The law that a Christian believes is not a law so much of rules and regulations; it is a law of love. If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you do well. James 2:8
For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Gal 5:14
We believe in the Bible as God’s truth and Holy word.
We believe that Jesus died for the sins of everyone but each individual must personally accept this gift.
We believe that Jesus is the only way to salvation.
We believe that many of the sins that are now deemed acceptable are actually detrimental to society; this despite the legality of laws.
For instance, abortion may be legal but I, for one, see it as murder.
Just because it’s legal doesn’t make it right.
Gay marriage is the law in several states but just because it’s the law doesn’t make it right.
Perhaps what Haman said to Xerxes may be said of us – So it is not in the king’s interest to let them live.
Slowly the basic rights of Christians are being stripped from us; the rights given to all that live in this nation by many of those Founders who themselves were Christians.
But I think we should have the faith of Mordecai and wait for God to provide for His people.

  1. I’m not sure I get your message with the advertisment for college. I do see the need to seperate from the children if education is truely desired. The Lord says the world is at emity with Him. It’s plain to see that loving the Lord would make us undesirable to the world. The great law of LOVE is hard to except because the world has so distorted love. Divine healing has to work in us. That can be a slow prossess, but it will bring acceptance & faith & hope, & a lack of fear of what the world thinks or wants to do to those who are different (Christians).
