Once the articles and material for the Tabernacle were created and collected, the real work of assembly began.
You can read about all that had to be done in Exodus 40.

Just to quickly review – the people began donating gold, silver, bronze, and many other things for the worship of God through the Tabernacle. Gifted and skilled artisans began the work, according to God’s specifications.

When it was finally complete, the cloud covered the Tabernacle, and the glory of the Lord filled the Tabernacle. Ex 40:34

The glory of God was so powerful that even Moses could not enter the Tabernacle.

Here is what I get from it all – when you give with a cheerful heart and do just as the Lord instructs, then His glory will fill YOU!
It is not longer about a tented worship center or even a Temple on the top of a hill; it is about you!
Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 1 Cor 3:16
Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 1 Cor 6:19

You are not your own!

Now whenever the cloud lifted from the Tabernacle, the people of Israel would set out on their journey, following it. But if the cloud did not rise, they remained where they were until it lifted. The cloud of the Lord hovered over the Tabernacle during the day, and at night fire glowed inside the cloud so the whole family of Israel could see it. This continued throughout all their journeys. Ex 40:36-38

Like the glory of God on the Tabernacle, the Holy Spirit should direct your life. You should venture no farther than He directs you.
You should live in such a way that others see Him in you.
You’re life should be centered in Him.

You are not your own!
