So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you have to endure many trials for a little while.
These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world. 1 Peter 1:6-7
Well it started last night. Linda and I became frustrated and angry, but not at each other. This is something against us.
I did my best to keep my mouth shut as to not curse things worse. But my washing dishes, folding clothes, and taking out the trash spoke volumes in itself.
All the while Linda is mopping the floor.
“I don’t like feeling this way,” I said to her.
She replied, “Me either!”
Then the phone rang and we got the news that a 5-year old boy has 2nd degree burns over 90% of his body.
We prayed.
He’s going through a big trial and fighting for his life, while we are just going through a little trial.
I pray on the other side of both there is life, joy, and happiness – especially for Logan.
Like gold must be melted, impurities removed, and reshaped – so our lives are done the same in a spiritual way.
I know that on the other side of this trial there will be much praise and glory – but we’re not to the other side yet.
And for Logan, his journey has just begun!
Abba Father, forgive me of the rage I felt inside. I know You will take care of us but I ask You to take care of Logan. Any blessing You have for us, please bestow it on him. Thank You, Father, for Your grace, mercy, love, and salvation. In Jesus’ name I pray healing on Logan. YES&AMEN

What a shame on us, on me that I have to see an others worse trouble before realizing I’m have a pity party. Forgive me Lord Jesus. I too, ask for Your wonderful grace to fill Logan’s body. Surround him with Your calming presence, and let him laugh. You, dear Lord pour out the medicine like anointing oil that it may start at his head and run down between his toes. Send in Your laborers to touch, and speak to him at just the moment. You are awesome Lord!

from the title of this I was expecting something entirely different, I too am praying for the lad, Father, you are with Logan, of this we are positive. Keep your angels encompassed around him, in Jesus Name we ask.
