Jesus traveled throughout the region of Galilee, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And he healed every kind of disease and illness.
News about him spread as far as Syria, and people soon began bringing to him all who were sick. And whatever their sickness or disease, or if they were demon-possessed or epileptic or paralyzed—he healed them all.
Large crowds followed him wherever he went—people from Galilee, the Ten Towns, Jerusalem, from all over Judea, and from east of the Jordan River. Matt 4:23-25
Finally to reach your full potential in Christ involves fulfillment of your life in Christ.
Jesus’ example for you is his traveling, teaching, and healing. This is what He did; this is who He was.
There were those that were against His ministry. The Pharisees called a meeting to plot how to kill Jesus. Matt 12:14
They questioned His ability to teach; One day as Jesus was teaching the people and preaching the Good News in the Temple, the leading priests, the teachers of religious law, and the elders came up to him. They demanded, “By what authority are you doing all these things? Who gave you the right?” Luke 20:1-2
But Jesus never backed down! He did not stray and He did not give up.
His example and the leading of the Holy Spirit gave Paul the ability to do the same.
He said, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful.” 2 Tim 4:7
Paul also told us that God gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; Eph 4:11-13
In Psalm 57, David wrote about this fulfillment. He said, “I cry out to God Most High, to God who will fulfill his purpose for me.” Ps 57:2
To reach your full potential in Christ you need to find your ministry and fulfill your life in it.
Life takes so many turns. And God is faithful to supply all the needs and more.

When you say “ministry”, how are you defining it? As a church-related field? Or something else entirely?

Ministry to me is serving the Lord, whether you are a pastor, a dj at a Christian radio station, or you’re just someone on the job and you stop and pray for a fellow worker. It’s all ministry when it is directed toward leading someone into a better relationship with the Savior.
