God threw the stone of Commandments and you broke them. We all did. Because of that another stone should be rightfully thrown at all of us – the stone of condemnation.
This stone is meant to punish and kill.
Then Moses spoke to the children of Israel; and they took outside the camp him who had cursed, and stoned him with stones. So the children of Israel did as the Lord commanded Moses. Lev 24:23
Yes, I know that Jesus spared the woman taken in adultery, who could have lawfully been stoned. But it is God’s commandment to stone those that broke certain parts of the Law.
The man stoned in Leviticus had blasphemed the name of the Lord. If stoning were still enforced today for blaspheming God then a good portion of the population would perish.
The stone of condemnation should help you realize that you are in need of salvation. The wages of sin have not changed even though stoning is no longer practiced. Sin is still punishable by death.
Accepting God’s love, grace, and forgiveness is rewarded with eternal life and the best living you’ll ever experience this side of eternity.
