Heard any good rumors lately?
There are plenty of them here in Texas dealing with Jade Helm, military equipment, UN troops, and Walmart.
Just 70 miles southwest of me lies Livingston, where the Walmart has closed for “plumbing problems”. Yet there are rumors that the store will be used as a military detention center when Marshall Law is declared.
I have seen several videos and read a news article and there is nothing at that Walmart but people working on the plumbing.
Rumors are not new.
Here is one from the days of Nehemiah.
Then Sanballat sent his servant to me as before, the fifth time, with an open letter in his hand. In it was written:
It is reported among the nations, and Geshem says, that you and the Jews plan to rebel; therefore, according to these rumors, you are rebuilding the wall, that you may be their king. And you have also appointed prophets to proclaim concerning you at Jerusalem, saying, “There is a king in Judah!” Now these matters will be reported to the king. So come, therefore, and let us consult together.
Then I sent to him, saying, “No such things as you say are being done, but you invent them in your own heart.” Neh 6:5-8
The rumor was meant to stir up fear and chaos. It was meant to stop everyday life and alter the course of everyone. This is what rumors do.
Rumors begat more rumors. Rumors grow – never shrink.
Even Jesus said there would be lots of rumors about wars and such in the last days.
It makes me wonder if all this qualifies as a fulfillment of His word!
