Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” Matt 24:3
Jesus and disciples returning from the Temple had just looked at all the buildings in the area. He then made the statement about the destruction of the area.
Their curiosity peaked; the disciples questioned Him about the things He said, His return, and the end times.
This is one of the few times Jesus talked about such things but it is a lengthy discourse, after all, He is answering three different questions.
After this end-time speech from Jesus (Matt 24:3 – 25:46), Matthew’s Gospel moves forward to the plot to kill Jesus, Passover, death and resurrection – the Father’s business.
The end time events fascinate me but not as much as seeing someone repent and come to Christ. I love to teach on the next coming of Christ but not as much as teaching on a relationship with Jesus.
I enjoy praise and worship and being on the radio.
In these last days, I find great joy being about the Father’s business.
