And the Lord said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.” Gen 6:3
Father God patiently waits and desires for everyone to come to Him for salvation. He desired it in the days of Noah preceding the great flood.
For 120 years, Noah worked on the ark, all the while preaching the coming judgment and destruction.
People did not listen then – many do no listen today.
Jesus said, “And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man:” Luke 17:26
He mentions eating, drinking, and relationships. You can also assume the attitude is the same, as people do not want to hear about the coming of Jesus.
As Noah spoke of the deluge to come, their minds could not comprehend it. No rain had ever fallen before that time. (Gen 2:5-6)
Noah seemed a madman talking about it.
Indeed, Jesus has never appeared in the sky above. The saints of God have never burst from their graves to meet Him in the air. And the living Christians have never been transformed in the twinkling of an eye and caught up together in the air with them all.
It has never happened before but like the flood – it will!
I cannot guarantee you 120 years or 120 seconds. He is coming!
