Memorable Scripture: Sin finds you out

And the woman conceived; so she sent and told David, and said, “I am with child.” 2 Samuel 11:5

There is scripture given in the days of Moses and long before David birth. The scripture serves as a warning to three tribes of Israel to fulfill their vow to the Lord. Basically, when you vow yourself to live for God you vow to fulfill His word.
As king, David broke his vow to the Lord God.
The scripture says take note, you have sinned against the Lord; and be sure your sin will find you out. Num 32:23

David’s adultery has led to the conception of a child. This is a sinful and shameful act.
Does David confess his sin? No. Instead, he compounds it.
He hatches a scheme to cover it up.
Take note: you cannot cover your own sin. Only the blood of Jesus covers sin.

There is no sin, no crime, and no trespass against God or man that will not be exposed in the Day of Judgment.
Even every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” Matt 12:36-37

Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered. Ps 32:1; Rom 4:7

Will you answer for yourself in the Day of Judgment? Remember, you cannot cover or hide your own sin.
There is One that can speak for you as a Mediator between God and you. 1 Tim 2:5-6
For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time,
Only the blood of Jesus covers your sin and only He can mediate and testify before God for you.
Trust in Jesus as Savior and live honorably for God.
