And the king said, “Divide the living child in two, and give half to one, and half to the other.” 1 Kings 3:25

A command like this from the king sounds like lunacy and perhaps is grounds for abdication.
However, it had amazing results at revealing the real mother of the child as both women claimed it.
When one said spare the child and the other said divide the child, Solomon knew which one was the real mom.

Wisdom is a possibility with most people. Wisdom, in my opinion, does not come with rash speech or spontaneous actions. I make no claim to great wisdom but I do make my wisest decisions with time and prayer.
Solomon’s wisdom spread across the world and much of it is within reach of you in the Book of Proverbs and Ecclesiastes.

Prov 8:11 For wisdom is better than rubies, And all the things one may desire cannot be compared with her.

Prov 11:12 He who is devoid of wisdom despises his neighbor, But a man of understanding holds his peace.

I think real wisdom is in applying the wisdom already given to us.
