Into Your hand I commit my spirit;

Another saying of Jesus from the cross, fulfilling the scripture. (Luke 23:46)
I read these words and think I should speak them to the Lord every day.
Sure, I’m like Jesus and want to commit myself into God’s hands when it is my time to die.
Yet, I want God’s hands on me every day.

Lord, today I commit my spirit into your hands! Lead me, direct me, and guide me in the way I need to go. Take me to those that need to hear the Gospel message. Show me those that need encouragement and prayer. I am your servant.
