Ezekiel 8:7-8
So He brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, there was a hole in the wall. Then He said to me, “Son of man, dig into the wall”; and when I dug into the wall, there was a door.
Ezekiel is transported in the spirit to the Temple in Jerusalem. He digs through the wall and witnesses the abominations committed in the Temple.
Those things done in the dark and committed in the shadows are unknown to most.
But God knows.
He can dig through the wall of your heart and open the door to your soul, revealing your deepest darkest secrets and hidden sin.
What you need to realize is what those in the Temple did not realize – God’s wants you to confess those sins. God wants to forgive those sins.
It is so important to know God does not want to condemn you. He wants to redeem you.
Don’t hide behind the door of your heart.
Don’t make Him dig.
Open up and let the Lord in!
