Ezekiel 14:12-14
The word of the Lord came again to me, saying: “Son of man, when a land sins against Me by persistent unfaithfulness, I will stretch out My hand against it; I will cut off its supply of bread, send famine on it, and cut off man and beast from it. Even if these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they would deliver only themselves by their righteousness,” says the Lord God.

Noah accepted God’s grace and salvation. The Bible says he was a just man, perfect in his generation. He followed God’s instructions and, by faith, built an ark while declaring God’s judgment.

Daniel has an excellent spirit and was skilled in knowledge and understanding of visions and dreams.
No fault was found in him and he refused to stop praying and worshipping God. He also humbled himself with fasting and prayer.

Job was blameless; a man of integrity, who stayed away from evil and feared God. He sought purity in his life and that of his family. He did not curse or do any foolish blaming; praying for his friends, though they condemned him.
