Memorable Scripture: The importance of Scripture

Matthew 2:14-15
When he arose, he took the young Child and His mother by night and departed for Egypt, and was there until the death of Herod, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying, “Out of Egypt I called My Son.”

As a student of the Bible, I know this scripture. However, as a student of the Bible, I missed it earlier in the Memorable Scripture series.
Hos 11:1 – And out of Egypt I called My son.
That did not jog my memory at all back in May when I went through the book of Hosea.
You and I can miss and ignore scripture but God does not.
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Tim 3:16-17
Shamefully, many believers only know enough scripture to pacify themselves. Yet a book as important to God should also be important to us.
It is the one Book that shares the Way of Life!
