Matthew 4:17
From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

It is the message John gave! (Matt 3:2)
It is the first public message Jesus delivered.
It is still the message that needs preaching today!
Repent – to turn from sin and trust in God through Jesus Christ.
Why?
Because the kingdom of heaven is at hand!
A kingdom only exists when there is a ruler – a king.
When you allow Jesus rule in your life you become part of the kingdom of heaven.
It is at hand through repentance leading to salvation and Lordship of Jesus in your life.
It is still a good message for today.
If the message is good enough for Jesus and John, then it’s good enough for you to deliver also!
