Memorable Scripture: Seek and you will find

Matthew 7:7
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”

Should you take this verse literally or spiritually?
God is a good, just, and benevolent god and Jesus uses the example of a kind dad to get the point across.
What man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? Matthew 7:9-10
I know I always try to help my children or grandchildren when they ask something from me.
If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! Matthew 7:11
So ask away!
Ask God by faith because without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Heb 11:6
Just as I am quicker to help my children and grandchildren that are doing what I believe is right, I believe God isn’t going to bless you for sinning but only if you diligently seek Him.
Go ahead! Seek and you will find!
