Then they crucified Him

That pretty well sums it up!
His entire life led up to this moment.
He was not crucified for crimes of murder, extortion, lying, adultery, or anything else.
His death is your death.
He took your place.
It doesn’t seem logical. It doesn’t seem right.
It isnt’!
But it accomplished something you cannot do for yourself – salvation!
It’s not automatic. Just because He was crucified does not mean you are saved.
You must accept the truth of why He died and since He died for you, you must live for Him.
