Acts 17:10-11
Then the brethren immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea. When they arrived, they went into the synagogue of the Jews. These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.
I always admired the Berean’s. They listened to Paul and Silas teach Jesus from the Law and the Prophets.
They did not just accept what was said but searched the scriptures for themselves.
Each of us could learn something from them.
We should always read our Bible to check out what any minister says – to find out whether these things were so.
I know I want those listening or reading my teachings to do the same. Often, someone comes up with another thought from the scripture that I did not.
I appreciate the knowledge.
Hopefully, no one ever finds error.
Yet, I am not infallible.
