Memorable Scripture: A debased mind

Romans 1:28-32
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;

being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.

It would not seem I need to comment on any of this but you would be surprised how many twist God’s words around to make it fit their sinful lifestyle.
These sins affect everyone. You cannot escape the fact that you are guilty of at least one. I confess I am.
So we are guilty of unrighteous behavior.
When we lived wholly unrighteous we did not mind others living the same way. In fact, we approved of their behavior.
God makes it clear through the Book of Romans that everyone has inherent sin.
Romans also declares Jesus as the only way to remove sin.
You may not like what God has to say, especially if it goes against how you live.
Don’t resist His word.
You don’t want Him to give you over to a debased mind.
Accept His offer to change your life.
