2 Corinthians 5:21
For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

What a great verse to sum up the message of the Bible.
It answers the question “how to reconcile mankind to God?”
God is the one that chose this way – to place the sins of all humanity upon someone not guilty of any of their sins.
Only One person qualified – Jesus.
Jesus was willing accept the sinfulness of mankind so mankind can be righteous before the Father.
All time and creation led up to that moment on the cross. All time past that moment reflects back on the cross.
It’s hard to believe how many people want to stand before God and deal with their sin in their own way.
It won’t work.
I’d rather stand before God with the righteousness of Christ speaking for me.
