Philippians 4:13

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

My absolute favorite scripture!

It says it all.

The writer briefly describes the ups and downs of his life – in other places Paul goes into more detail. In all, you see the struggle he faced in his ministry.

But here he declares how he endured it all.

Christ enables us to make it through any situation.

That doesn’t mean it’s always pleasant.

It doesn’t mean we get our way.

What it does mean is Christ enables us to do it.

How can you face the death of someone you love? Christ gives you strength.

If you lose your job, Christ gives you strength.

A storm blows a tree on your house. Christ gives you strength.

Life continually throws difficulties at you and Christ continually gives you strength.

It doesn’t mean you will bounce back the very next day. Some wounds take time to heal but His strength aides in healing.

Place your strength into His strength.
