Colossians 1:16-17

For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.

I thought God created the heavens and the earth?

He did!

And Jesus is God! He is not a god, He is the God. There is no other.

For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; Col 2:9

Again, the finite mind of man cannot comprehend the infinite God.

His ways and thoughts are higher than ours.

Jesus (Yeshua) was at the creation, in the creation, and was the creation. He holds everything together.

He is the reason gravity works.

He is the reason stars shine.

He is the reason for oceans, rivers, mountains, and forests.

He is the spoken Word that spoke in the beginning.

He is yesterday, today, and forever.

He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.
