Colossians 3:2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.

Looking at the world makes you jealous, angry, hateful, envious, resentful, spiteful, sad, and many other emotions.

I know see this every time I watch the news and I feel a few emotions myself.

Don’t get me wrong, there is some happiness and joy but that usually doesn’t last.

This scripture is more important than ever.

Keep your mind and heart on the ultimate goal of Christ Jesus.

Christ gives peace and contentment.

He gives a real hope.

He gives us something to look forward to.

While the word divides us, He unites us and brings us as one.
