2 Timothy 3:12 Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.

I remember reading this scripture 30 years ago or so.
It’s such a central truth of Christianity.
If you live a godly life and proclaim your faith you will have persecution.
Persecution comes in many forms and is as mild as being called judgmental, a hypocrite, or labeled some kind of Bible-thumper.
Persecution is also severed when it involves beatings, jail, or death.
You must carefully weigh the cost of godly Christianity.
Is it worth it to suffer any sort of persecution for standing up for Christ?
Every writer of the Bible answers in the affirmative.

To be ashamed of Christ before men will bring your shame from Christ before the angels of heaven.
For me, there is no choice to make – live for Christ come what may!
If Christ is for you then who can be against you!
