1 John 1:4 And these things we write to you that your joy may be full.

I always thought this was one of the best scriptures.
Although it is written by John, it’s actually from God, since all scripture is inspired by Him.
Therefore, God is writing to you that your joy may be full.
Sometimes that is difficult to believe, especially when you read through the Law.
But the Law exists to show the severity of sin and that it affects everyone.
However, the Law also shows you that you can be better than the Law requires.
Looking beyond the Law and scriptures on judgment, the Bible is full of hope, mercy, grace, salvation, and love.
God is for us and that makes you full of joy.
