Revelation 1:7 Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.

The first time I read this verse, I imagined those at the crucifixion witnessing His return. They pierced Him.
Over the years I have read and matured and now I have good news.
It is written He was wounded for our transgressions. (Isa 53:5)
That “wounded” included His hands and feet pierced by the nails that fastened Him to the cross.
He was pierced for me and pierced by me.
It was my sin that fastened Him to the cross.
I am the one that pierced Him and I am more than ready to see Him.
With that said, it was the sin of everyone that pierced Him but so many do not care and do not acknowledge it.
They will mourn at His coming.
Our verse says “”every eye will see Him”.
I think at His return everyone will see it because everyone carries a video recording/live streaming device.
News reporters and reporting is everywhere.
Jesus’ return will be seen on every TV, computer, and social media around the globe.
As the Book of Revelation gets to the end you realize everyone will see Him as everyone stands before Him in judgment.
Get ready – He is returning.
