Revelation 8:12 Then the fourth angel sounded: And a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them were darkened. A third of the day did not shine, and likewise the night.

Today is Earth Day, a day set aside for environmental support.
However, I do not believe any amount of legislation, protests, or funding can prevent the predictions of Revelation.
After reading today’s scripture, what could cause the planet to darken by a third?
An increase in water vapor creating more cloudiness.
Increased volcanic activity with an ash cloud saturated atmosphere.
Nuclear war.
Or something as yet unknown and unseen that takes place in space.
As much as water is needed for life, so is light and warmth. This is especially true for plant life, which is a basic food source for most of the world.
This, in itself, is devastating to all life on earth.
Add it to the previous disasters and you will see a decline in humanity.
Just this morning I heard where a third of frog species are on the verge of extinction.
Many other fish and animals are in danger today.
During the tribulation, they all are!
As the events of the fourth angel unfold, John sees another angel saying, “Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the three angels who are about to sound!” Revelation 8:13
Your only hope is Jesus.
