Revelation 16:16 And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon.

This scripture is tied to the drying up of the Euphrates River.
In Chapter 9 four horsemen are released from the river and an army of 200 million crosses to kill a third of the earth’s population.
Now the armies gather for a great battle, the final battle of Armageddon.
This isn’t the battle but the preparations for the battle – Revelation 16:14 to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
According to scholars, there are other prophecies about this battle in Ezekiel.
I know the Bible can be confusing at times.
It is like a puzzle and you don’t get the big picture until you put everything together.
Although with most puzzles, the picture is on the box.
Here is the big picture of the Bible – because of HIs love for you, Jesus came, died on the cross, and rose from the grave so you can have forgiveness of sin and eternal life.
He ascended to the Father and is set to return.
You need to be ready for life.
You need to be ready for your own death.
You need to be ready for His return.
Forget all the different views on the rapture, the tribulation, Armageddon, or the Millineum – just be ready!
