Revelation 21:21 The twelve gates were twelve pearls: each individual gate was of one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.

I always thought, “That’s a big pearl!”
It’s hard to imagine one gate made out of one pearl but God does it.
Top it off, or bottom it off, with a street of gold.
Many old hymns contain lyrics that mention the streets of gold in the plural.
But here it says a street.
That fact got me thinking that all of God’s people are neighbors because we all live on the same street – twelve gates but only one street!
I can only assume that each of our “mansions” are located here also.
The literal translation of John 14:2 is “in My Father’s house are many places to live, abide, or many residences.
Whether it looks like a Beverly Hills mansion, a NY penthouse apartment, or an English castle I do not know.
I do know you won’t be disappointed!
