Revelation 22:20 “Surely I am coming quickly.”

Jesus said this at the end of the first century.
That doesn’t seem too quick but then consider it from the Lord’s viewpoint.
First, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 2 Peter 3:8
So it hasn’t been quite two days.
Add to this 2 Peter 3:9, which says the Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
He is not in a hurry to return because once He does, that is it – no more salvation!
God is giving us as much opportunity as possible to repent and accept Him as Savior.
So…when is He coming back?
