Matt 24:6-7 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.

The news this morning contains many of the elements that Jesus spoke about.
The Taliban are warring in the country of Afghanistan, taking over previously secure areas.
An earthquake in Haiti has devastated the rural area of the country.
The pestilence of Covid continues.
And, trust me, there is always a famine somewhere on the planet.
However, remember Jesus said, “See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.” Matt 24:6
And, “All these are the beginning of sorrows.” Matt 24:8
You can do very little to prevent wars, earthquakes, pestilence, and famine but you can secure your future in heaven by accepting Jesus as Savior.
This changes the outlook of everything!
You can overcome the bad news of today with the Good News of today!
