And you shall count seven Sabbaths of years for yourself, seven times seven years; and the time of the seven Sabbaths of years shall be to you forty-nine years. Then you shall cause the trumpet of the Jubilee to sound Continue reading
Morning Thought with Pastor Tim
Do You Prophesy?
And a young man ran and told Moses, and said, “Eldad and Medad are prophesying in the camp.”
So Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ assistant, one of his choice men, answered and said, “Moses my lord, forbid them!”
Then Moses said to him, “Are you zealous for my sake? Oh, that all the LORD’s people were prophets and that the LORD would put His Spirit upon them!” Num 11:27-30 Continue reading
Attitude Changes Everything
In one day he received word that he had lost his oxen, his donkeys, sheep, and camels.
That constituted all of his livestock; his ranch was gone.
While contemplating the news another message arrived that all of his children had been killed when a storm collapsed the house where they were gathered. Continue reading
Don’t Avoid God!
I watched as a young man drove up outside the building.
Inside his arrival was noticed by another young man that announced it to everyone.
One young lady looked up and asked, “What?” and then her gaze turned towards the windows. Continue reading

I found a news story about the “sweat lodge” deaths.
It reported that Ray had told the participants that it was a good day to die so they could be born again.

The Stubborn Nature of Man & Beast

You can only make a basket if you’re sitting on the donkey. Continue reading

While watching the news this morning, there was a story about a 95-year old woman that set a record (in her age group) for running 60 meters in under 30 seconds. Continue reading
God Knows Teachers Are Worth More!
I found an interesting post on Facebook that caught my attention.
It was written by a Tim Deppen and dealt with teacher’s salary.
Basically he (tongue-in-cheek) called the teachers “babysitters.”
Babysitting pay is about $3 an hour. Continue reading
It Doesn’t Mix
I was continuing to do some reading in Deuteronomy when I came upon this: You shall not sow your vineyard with different kinds of seed, lest the yield of the seed which you have sown and the fruit of your vineyard be defiled.
You shall not plow with an ox and a donkey together.
You shall not wear a garment of different sorts, such as wool and linen mixed together. Deut 22:9-11 Continue reading
