While watching a new Ten Commandments movie, I was reading my Bible at the same time just to check up on one of the details of the movie that I didn’t remember reading in the Bible. (You know how that artistic license goes!) Continue reading
Christ
Easter?
Easter.
To me the word means only one thing – the resurrection of Jesus.
Perhaps when I was young I may have associated it with colored eggs, baskets of green grass, and chocolate bunnies.
I still love boiled eggs but I can do without the coloring. Continue reading
There’s no comparison!
I want to continue with a look into Cain’s family.
Cain had little regard for serving God and offered a sacrifice but his heart was not in it.
Cain had little regard for human life and killed his own brother.
Cain had little regard for salvation and did not repent. Continue reading
When there was no Law
When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned. Yes, people sinned even before the law was given. But it was not counted as sin because there was not yet any law to break. Rom 5:12-14 Continue reading
Free from Sin – Not to Sin!
On the last Thought I shared verses that say under the Law there was a remembrance of sin year after year and therefore there was sacrifice for sin year after year.
But Jesus came once for all time because He does what the blood of bulls and goats cannot do – cleanse all sin from your life. Continue reading
The End of Sacrifice
Continuing with yesterday’s thought on the sacrificial death of Jesus and the forgiveness of your sins.

The word “all” only means one thing to me and that is ALL! Continue reading
How much forgiveness?
Yesterday one of my coworkers wanted me to respond to a Facebook status she had written and was beginning to get comments on. I have taken the liberty to post her question and the responses that followed – including mine. Continue reading
Seeing is not always believing!
Yesterday evening at sundown I drove up to a small hill not more than a mile away from my daughter’s house.
Though Interstate 35 was buzzing with traffic – it was to my east and I was looking west.
I was on the outskirts of a neighborhood with dozens and dozens of houses and apartments. Continue reading
Food for Thought!
I watched a video from a group that indicates a probable time for the return of Jesus and the beginning of the tribulation. That date is this month.
It deals with some scripture out of Revelation and Daniel. Continue reading
Missed the Rapture!
When I first moved to East Texas and got into church. One of the things I became interested in the end times; an interest that hasn’t diminished at all.
Perhaps it because of some of the music we sang in church – songs of resurrection and rapture.
I became engrossed in those scriptures that clearly witness of a great, future event. Continue reading
