I’ve got the day off today!
What shall I do?
Go Christmas shopping?
Head out to the ol’ caching trail?
Sit around and watch old movies?

What am I doing up at this hour?
I’ve been awake since 1:30am and finally went ahead and got out of bed.
I’m troubled.
I’ve been thinking and praying over the lives of some of my friends in church.
I don’t know what to do about them, except pray. Continue reading

“And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Aida, and she slept: and he took one of her ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; and the rib, which the Lord God had taken from woman, made he another Continue reading

It’s Black Friday and I’m at home!
Linda and I did the BF-thingy a few years ago, getting up at 4am (nothing unusual about that) to go to Wal-mart (nothing unusual about that either) and stand in line with 500 other people (very unusual). Continue reading

The season finale of Dancing With The Stars was last night.
Linda and I have pretty well watched it from week to week.
It’s really amazing to see non-dancers become graceful as they cut-a-rug.
The finalists included Continue reading

… not of works… Eph 2:9
I’m on vacation this week (yes, I know… again!) and I’ve been doing some things around the house while Linda works a day and a half.
We’re getting ready for Thanksgiving and with Kimberly moved out we want to make her old room the spare from for Lindsey and Jeff. Continue reading

…for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die. Gen 2:17
I didn’t literally get away with murder.
The fear of God had to flow through the veins of Adam and Eve when it came to the only commandment, only law that existed; don’t eat the fruit from that certain tree. Continue reading
