From sinner to saint.

The forerunner of Jesus was a man named John. He held nothing back, even calling out the king (Herod) for having his brother’s wife, Herodias. The adulterers did not like being called adulterers.

John was eventually seized and locked up by Herod, who really feared him, believing he was a prophet.
You know the story how on his birthday Herod wished for his niece to dance for him – offering her anything for the privilege.
The cost was high – the head of John.

Immediately the king sent an executioner and commanded his head to be brought. And he went and beheaded him in prison, brought his head on a platter, and gave it to the girl; and the girl gave it to her mother. Mark 6:27-28

Herodias hated John because of his condemnation of this unlawful relationship, but killing him did not change a thing. She was still living in adultery. She was still an unrepentant sinner.
Not only that, she was also raising a daughter to follow in her footsteps.

You are a sinner; the Bible is crystal clear on this.
You can destroy all the Bibles in the world and it won’t change that fact.
You can stay away from church and it won’t change.
You can ignore preaching and refuse to listen and it won’t change.
You can rid the earth of every single Christian and it doesn’t change.
There is nothing you can do to change the word of God unless you change yourself through embracing it.
When you accept that you are a sinner, then you are ready to accept Jesus as your Savior.
When you do you go from sinner to saint!

If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Rom 10:9-10
