For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You. Ps 86:5
Jesus came to give you life and to give it more abundantly. I believe He wants to bless you in great ways but expects you to bless others along your way.
The Lord’s greatest abundance is not in gold and jewels but in forgiveness and mercy. He turns none away.
You should also give your abundance in the same manner.
While the Lord is ready to forgive, I have met many that are not, including some Christians. Instead of freely forgiving they would rather freely hold a grudge. They say holding a grudge is like letting someone live in your head rent free.
Mercy and forgiveness walk hand in hand with each other. You must also walk hand in hand with each. In this way you will truly experience more abundant living.
It just is not that easy for some. They love setting in church & have people like them & depend on them. Evidence is there of Christ within. But forgiveness is apparently not grasped toward others. I do understand childhood wounds are deep. Also I know the healing power of the love of Christ even without asking for it. What I don’t understand is why they wont let it go in to the hands of Jesus. There is such freedom within. And others can rest in their peace.
