Memorable Scripture: Knowing God Early

Ecclesiastes 12:1
Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth,
Before the difficult days come,
And the years draw near when you say,
“I have no pleasure in them”:

The Creator is everyone’s Creator, although, many do not give credit to the Lord God, as known in the Bible.
They give credit to something else or give no credit at all.
Many others say they believe in God but there is no evidence of this in the life they live.

God calls on each of us to remember Him and to do it early in life. The longer you wait the more difficult it is as life hardens your heart, doubts fill your head, and indifference becomes your god.

I accepted Christ as my Savior at the age of eighteen. I firmly believe He has helped me through life. I cannot imagine living without Him. My difficult days are eased with the knowledge of:

  • Heb 13:5 – He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
  • 1 Cor 10:13 – God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.
  • 2 Cor 12:9 – He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”
