Memorable Scripture: An End to Disease.
Matthew 8:16-17
When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.”
This verse summarizes His ministry.
In previous verses, He healed a leper, a paralyzed man, and a woman with a fever. Add the healing of demon-possessed to it.
No matter the sickness, you can get healing. It may not come miraculously – in an instant. Sometimes healing takes place over time.
The greatest healing for anyone is the healing of sin.
What good does it do someone to live a healthy life, eventually die and be condemned to hell?
Sin is the ultimate fatal disease. It kills every time.
Jesus came and put an end to the fatalities.
