Matthew 26:39
He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.”

Is this prayer a sign of weakness?
No, a sign of weakness is to run away and disappear where no one can find you.
Jesus’ faith and strength kept Him in the garden where they will find Him.
He gave over His own desire to fulfill the desire of the Father.
I wish I could always say I do that.
The truth is, you’ll find me hiding.
You’ll find me panicking.
You’ll find me trying to fix it on my own.
To be like Jesus is to ask God for what you desire but to desire what the Father wants for you!
